This beautiful custom modern chandelier was commissioned for a rustic modern interior design application as requested by my client. She wanted lots of colorful glass for included in the fixture. I started by joining maple hardwood planks, glued together and rounded on the ends. I then cut the bottoms of of the bottles and used them for the illuminated glass lighting canopy.
Along with the standard base sockets for standard lightbulbs in the glass shades, I incorporated a low voltage system for the exclusively for the ceiling canopy glass circles and the reflected light up in the ceiling.
