Products

Do you sell any products in the store?
All of our products are sold directly on our website.
What kinds of bulbs come in your products?
We generally send 40-watt vintage-style filament bulbs as featured in many of our listing photos. If you would prefer different bulbs, please don’t hesitate to send an email inquiry or to call us with any questions about LED vintage style bulbs or other options. Please take note: light bulbs will NOT be provided to customers outside of the United States, Canada and Mexico due to differences in voltage.

Shipping/Payment

What kinds of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover cards through PayPal. If you have a PayPal account you can pay directly through there.

How do I know my payment is secure?
We use PayPal as our credit card processor. The power of PayPal offers a high level of security and buyer protection.
Where do you ship from?
We ship directly from California.
When will my package ship?
Our products are all made to order, giving you many customizable options for your purchase. We generally take 2 to 3 weeks to process orders before shipping. If you need your fixture by a certain date, or would like it to arrive on a specific date, please contact us and we can work with yo
When will I receive my package?
We always send tracking info via our UPS shipping portal so you can be on top of the movement of your package from our workshop to your home or place of business. Shipping from California to the East Coast takes 7 days. The shorter the distance, the quicker you’ll receive your package.
What shipping service do you use?
We use UPS to ship all packages domestic and USPS for international orders. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, we do ship outside of the United States. Please contact us for a shipping quote.
My product arrived damaged. What do I do?
Please call us immediately so that we can discuss how we can get you up and running with a new product or replacement parts.
May I return/exchange my order?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you are welcome to return it. We do not refund shipping charges and we do charge a 15% restocking fee for customized fixtures. For a one-of-a-kind piece designed and made exclusively for you, we charge a 50% return fee.

Customization

What kinds of lighting do you offer?
How long does it take to make your custom requests?

Once a design is agreed upon, we generally take 3 to 4 weeks to create your design.

What kinds of customization options do you offer?
Depending on the piece, we offer the choice of bottle styles, wood finish, metal finish, canopy finish, cord color and style or tile color. We can also make many of our pieces on a larger or smaller scale.
Do you charge extra for customization?
No! At Moonshine Lamp Company, we don’t charge extra for customization, and we don’t mark up our products.
Can I send you my own materials for a custom piece?

I’m not sure what the best design choice is for my space.

I will have to move soon. Can your fixtures be moved around easily?
Since we mostly mail our products to people who purchase online, all of our chandeliers are built for assembly. And, of course, if you can assemble our products, you can certainly disassemble them just the same.

Installation

How do I install my new fixture?
We send installation notes via a PDF file to your email address. You can always call us with questions.
Can you install my new lighting fixture?
We have done installations around the country and can certainly come to you if needed. Please contact us for more information and a job quote.
Are your fixtures UL Listed?
We use all UL listed components. If you need a UL listing for custom fixtures, please contact us.
Will your custom lighting work with a vaulted or slanted ceiling?
We can adapt our fixtures to fasten directly to a flat ceiling or to suspend via posts or cables that will enable the fixtures to find their own center point for leveling. If your ceiling is vaulted or you need to hang your fixture in a specific way, please let us know so we can accommodate.
